Woodridge • FIRST LEGO League • Bellevue, WA

Small teams. Big ideas. One robotics community.

Woodridge Robotics Coop connects FIRST LEGO League teams that grow out of Woodridge Elementary School in Bellevue, WA. We help students, mentors, and families build robots, solve real-world problems, and learn from each other—so new teams don’t have to start from scratch every year.

Our Mission

For Students

Learn together, not alone

Teams like BRAIN_bots and AI Eagles practice separately but connect through scrimmages, shared robot tips, and project showcases. Kids see that they are part of a wider community of builders and thinkers, not just one small team.

  • Joint practice nights and scrimmages
  • Robot game tips, coding help, build ideas
  • Older students mentoring younger teammates
For Coaches & Mentors

Support for new FLL teams

Many Woodridge teams are brand new. The Coop keeps checklists, practice plans, and example code so each new coach doesn’t have to reinvent everything.

  • Shared starter materials and practice agendas
  • Code and robot designs that carry forward
  • Connections to FIRST Washington resources
For the Community

Part of a bigger pipeline

The Coop builds a bridge from Woodridge Elementary into middle and high school robotics programs, and connects with local PTSA and STEM organizations that care about kids and curiosity.

  • Visible robotics presence linked to Woodridge
  • On-ramps to middle and high school teams
  • Opportunities for alumni to come back as mentors
